  1. It is, no doubt, absolutely shameful the way that the City of Cherokee's business is handled. Obviously, some people need to learn to conduct themselves as intelligent adults. However, this website is no better than those it slams. Everyone has skeletons in their closet; things that they are not proud of having done. Does the fact that these people are in an active governmental role negate their right to privacy, especially when the 'skeletons' that are exposed have to do with things such as their personal lives?

While the above post does not mention anything especially inflammatory against the officer involved, its mere appearance on such a judgmental and accusatory site seems to cast a negative pallor upon the incident. This officer was a crime victim; a very unfortunate incident. This post seems very out of place, unless, as some suspect, the author may be attempting to allude something insidious occurred, where no such insidious thing exists. We can only hope this is not the case and that the author is simply trying to point out that no one is immune to being a victim of crime.

  2. Sounds like and looks like there is nothing going on in Cherokee now. Maybe everyone decided to straighten up. Or maye this site has been abandoned.

  4. It seems to me if the firearms are city property then they should stay in the city i can't see a reason to take a issued AR-15 or a shotgun that should have a been locked in his patrol car in a approved shotgun lock out of the city in the first place!
