THREATS
IT IS BEING SAID BY A 16 YEAR OLD THAT THEY ARE BEING HARASSED BY A FORMER MAYOR OF CHEROKEE. IF THE HARASSMENT CONTINUES THEY ARE GOING TO THE POLICE AND FILE CHARGES.
The Former mayor of Cherokee sent a threat by her niece. She said that if he did not take videos that were posted about her down... that she would sue him for slander. Harassment charges are in the works. She told the boy that he had until midnight that night to make a post on facebook saying that he was sorry and that he would never talk about her again. But.... he didn't because he is obviously not scared of her like she thinks everyone else is. Should be interesting to see what takes place.
You got the story all wrong again, boy. Boy shouldn't be attempting to play adult politics, big juju happen to boy and family. You will be the cause of big juju. From this second forward YOUR LIFE will start falling apart, watch your back.
Still, Mullet is an adult like it or not, the boy is that a boy. I saw the videos on FB and I dont really see what was so slanderous about it, looked like some picture slide shows too me. If Mignon can dish it out, she better be able to take it! Im interested too see how this plays out.
Does this woman do anything for herself? She is so scared that she gets the city council to do her "bidding" for her and now she puts her minor niece up to doing her dirty work. Let's see, this may explain somethings though. She pays her niece to do her dirty deeds, so that must be why the council does too. She must pay them as well! Makes you wonder! And how does she have all the "money" and nobody has or has had for a while now, A JOB!
The "boy" did not do anything wrong. Anything he posted was of public record and he did not slander anyone. However, the forner mayor did threaten him, as she has others. She seems to think that "you shouldn't mess with her", but she doesn't mind messing with everyone in town. And the comment including the words "big juju" just proves that the former mayor & her puppets are mentally insane. The people in this town are sick & tired of them.

So.. Let's get a few things straight around here. For one: Mignon did not purchase "Lil Niece's" new vehicle. (Black Jaguar with windows tented) Mignon hasn't even been inside this car. That was purchased by her daddy, Randy Cochran. For two: Seeing how "Lil Niece" was the one who contacted the minor, shouldn't she be the one sued for harassment? Not Mignon. And the minor didn't turn around and contact Mignon, he also went through me. For three: "Lil Niece" did not post those two comments above taking Mignon's side. (She would have used correct grammar if it would have been her.) Nor did she recieve any money for such. Would anyone care to know as to why I know all of this?? Because this is "Lil Niece". I didn't get involved in all this nonsense until I was brought up. I doubt that you pathetic cowards who run this website even have the guts to accept this comment. I'm not afraid to stand up for myself and put my name to my words unlike others who like to hide behind Anonymous. I feel as if everyone should either man up to their words, or stop commenting such ridiculous things which they are too scared to put their name to.
First, "Lil Niece", the sentence "(She would have used correct grammar if it would have been her.)", is grammatically incorrect. Secondly, "Lil Niece", perhaps you should tell your aunt to man-up to her responsibilities (i.e. admit her criminal activities in Tupelo, MS and in Florida [remember..."The truth will set you free"], submit to the drug test required of all Water & Gas Department employees and board members, and be honest about her intentions to destroy the Water Department, at any cost, in order to settle her own personal vendetta).
A comment posted on here 10 days ago said "Harassment charges are in the works." When were they filed and what is the status? When is that former mayor going to have to be in court about this?
We all want to be there to see the outcome of this one!

Excuse me.. if you knew anything whatsoever, you'd know that my mom and dad did not get divorced over my biological father situation. Randy Cochran is my daddy. And I dare anyone to say anything otherwise. Especially to my face. Because I'm about 100% sure that you won't. However, I would appreciate it if the "Lil Niece" comments stopped and you good folks left Micki out of your squabbles. Picking on teenagers is not the way that civilized people conduct themselves.
I am not throwing my hat into this ring to start an argument. I am taking no sides here. I am merely pointing out that adults should be able to engage in discourse with each other without resorting to name-calling and preying on the sensibilities of a sixteen year old girl.
I think she brought her name into this. I am pretty sure of that. Maybe she shouldn't sign her name to her comments if she gets upset when people disagree with her.
I'm not upset one bit.. That's exactly why I sign my name. I want to make sure everyone knows my opinions and feelings. I'm not going to hide behind Anonymous unlike others. :)
The 16-year-old boy got what was coming to him. He is all the time saying harsh and ugly things about other people, and he thinks he's big stuff for it. Its all the time so in so is trash. He is 16, still a child and should not be saying stuff like that about other people. Especially about people who are a lot older than him. He may not like Mignon, but since he is a child he should show her a little respect.
I am not Mignon follower in any way, but I would have probably said something to if it were me. I wouldn't have threatened him, but I would have probably let him know what I though about it.
The "Child" as you call him can say whatever he wants. I know him personally, and I am sure if you told him how you felt about him, he wouldn't have a problem telling you his opinion of you. I think you should say what you just posted to his face. I would love to see it. Many people would buy tickets to see you two go at it.
well... Whoever said they would tell me what they think about it... send me a message on facebook, say something out in public, hell... do it on here... this site needs a little action... But.. be sure to sign your name... because I am sure I have a few words for you! I won't be showing her any respect because I don't respect her. "Children" should respect their elders, but there is no word for what Mignon is. I wouldn't even call her human. She has no heart and is out for herself only. 90% of the town does not and will not have any respect for this so called person. She has a few people other than family that buy into her crap, but trust me, if she is nice to you then there is something in it for her. She is a user and is out to get what she wants and will "destroy" (or try to anyway)anyone who gets in her way. The worst thing that EVER happen to this town is this he-she moving back. As for the 16 year old, if she has a problem with him, she needs to take it up with his parents. She has no right to even speak to him.
Also someone needs to contact the IRS. She nor anyone else in the house has a JOB or had a job for a couple of years. So how does she have what she has and support some of her family also. Something is not right. She obviously doesn't have a problem with breaking the law. Makes you wonder huh?

I heard about the mignon thing, and i know if it's true but who cares. What's it hurting you guys? Just wondering. Like, yea she should take the test, my beliefs, but she wont. But hey, it's how it works everywhere. The people that have money will always use it as a way out because the people without money always take the money. People are corrupt and will do anything to make sure they have the cash to pay the bills next week. And Seth, the fair is happening buddy. You should check it out, i myself am not going. Our comments are not said in a vacumm. Our defense is, "it is only the truth". Reminding an individual that lost a child that their child is dead may be the truth, but it is also hurtful. Hopefully we would not do this even anonomously. Why remind a child that their parents are divorced? That is emotionally painful.
What type of message is this behavior sending to tomorrow's leaders about how a community should act? I fear that this forum may inadvertantly condemn the future of Cherokee for a few laughs. Is that what we want?
I will not be leaving anymore comments. If folks choose to continue commenting, I hope the comments have a constructive intent.
Who will take pride in us if we do not take pride in ourselves?
I'm going to be nice to Mignon when I see her in town, no matter what she's done she IS human and we all have feelings.
I don't agree with what she is doing in the town, but maybe if we are all nice to each other this crap thats going on might get a little bit better.
