THIS WAS A QUICK MEETING. STEVE GLOVER RECANTED HIS MOTION TO HIRE HIS MOTHER IN LAW AND THE VOTE TO HIRE HER. MAYOR LANSDELL STATED THAT STEVE WAS TOLD BY HIM AND THE FORMER CITY ATTORNEY THAT IT WAS A VIOLATION TO VOTE ON THAT MATTER AND STEVE DID IT ANYWAY.
MIKE MALONE MADE A MOTION TO ABOLISH ANY PART TIME AS NEEDED JOB OPENINGS UNTIL THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY.

Perhaps our town council might want to stop taking legal or any other advice from someone who represents themselves as a brilliant accountant yet thinks its a good idea to throw unopened bank statements, notices of tax liens, etc into a closet and when questioned about it claim she did a great job!!! Such a distorted view of reality suggest severe menatl illness to me!!! And apparently it is contagious as the majority of our town council have the same warped sense of reality!!!

You should have followed the law in the first place instead of selling your souls to Mignon!!! Proof of your illegal activities have been passed to the proper authorities!!! Remember, you can't unring a bell!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm no attorney but I see Glover's attempt to change his vote as a blatant admission of guilt!!! I would think the ethics complaint should be an open and shut case!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone reading this is an attorney please answer this question. If a town council call an "emergency" meeting for a situation that is clearly not an emergency (unless covering your a** now constitutes an emergency) can the citizens file ethics complaints against the council???
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have minutes from the July 14th meeting already??? I would bet now that the Mignonites have unbroke the law and since they own the city clerk they minutes will mysteriously omit the original violations!!!
