WHEN STEVE GLOVER AND PATRICA MASON VOTED TO FIRE MARSHA ALLEN AND HIRE BECKY WATKINS THEY COULD HAVE COMMITTED AN ETHICS VIOLATION. WATKINS IS GLOVER'S MOTHER IN LAW AND MASON IS ALLEN'S SONS GREAT AUNT. GLOVER AND MASON SHOULD HAVE NOT VOTED ON THE MEASURE. THIS ETHICS VIOLATION COULD GIVE MAYOR LANSDELL LEEWAY TO FIRE WATKINS AGAIN AND REHIRE MARSHA.
WATKINS RESIGNED A LONG TIME AGO AND WAS BROUGHT BACK BY MELINDA MALONE. AFTER RETURNING TO WORK WATKINS HURT HERSELF. WATKINS WAS NEVER REHIRED AND SHOULD NOT BEEN WORKING. MELINDA MALONE DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO HIRE ANYONE. WATKINS SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN AT WORK WHEN SHE GOT HURT. MELINDA SHOULD PAY ANY DAMAGES THAT THE CITY HAS TO PAY WATKINS FROM WATKINS WORKER COMP CLAIM.
WILL CHUCK LANSDELL REHIRE MARSHA ALLEN AND WILL HE FIRE BECKY WATKINS. WE CAN ONLY HOPE SO BECAUSE THE COUNCIL’S ACTION WAS ILLEGAL AND INVALID. MAYOR LANSDELL DO YOU JOB AND CORRECT THE COUNCIL’S ILLEGAL ACTS.

Now we all know Melinda and Mike think they rule the town. Melinda even sets her own hours. I personally would love it if they did make her pay Watkins salary and for the lawsuit too. Think her puppet master would help her out?

2. She needs Melinda to continue to hid her illegal activities from the rest of the town. Not to mention the other council members illegal activities.
Maybe ALL the missing money from Melinda's "office" has been used to pay Steves gambling debt.
Who has a job that gets paid $3030.00 per month salary and only works when she wants to. So if you go to town hall and she is not there, she is still getting paid by our tax dollars. Maybe that is how she and Mignon figured out how to take the money legally. Also if someone else is there, that means that are getting paid for working and Melinda is getting paid for whatever she may be doing. It sounds shady to me. And they wonder why the town is broke. The town clerk is WAY OVER PAID!
