SOURCES HAVE SAID THAT THE CITY COUNCIL COULD BE MAKING OTHER PLANS, IF THE COUNCIL DECIDES NOT TO REHIRE BECKY BERRYMAN WADKINS IN THE PART TIME CITY CLERK POSITION. THE COUNCIL COULD BE LOOKING AT THE HIRING OF A FEW SENIORS FROM THE CENTER TO ANSWER PHONES WHEN MELINA MALONE IS NOT AT WORK. IF A PERSON IS NOT BONDED THEY CAN NOT HANDLE MONEY. BASICALLY THE PERSON WOULD BE GETTING PAID TO DO NOTHING.
THE COUNCIL NEEDS TO HIRE SOMEONE THAT IS QUALIFIED TO DO THE JOB. COULD MIGNON BE WORKING ON TRYING TO GET HER SISTER HIRED? WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE.

ReplyDeleteWhy would you just ASSume that Seniors would be unqualified and unbondable. It may come as a surprise to you to learn that many Seniors have spent years owning and operating businesses and have skills that would qualify them for the job.
ReplyDeleteProbally for the same reason that any honest citizen off Cherokee would. The city council "mini-mes" will put another one of them in the position! What better way to cover their tracks? "she did not know exactly what to do with the money--so we will have to track it down. But we know it's here somewhere!! She's still learning." Nice cover-up. ISN"T IT??? Nice try--Mignon minies!!! But we are not falling any more of your schemes!!
ReplyDeleteIt just sounded as though they were going to hire seniors just to answer the phone and nothing else. Was their intentions to have the seniors take the class to be certified so they could have them bonded so that they would be qualified?
